Expectations Exceeded
Every now and then I come across a situation that allows me to reset
my expectations. Recently this happened at a performance of Iris by
Cirque du Soleil.
The back story is that I had spoken to some hard-line Cirque fans who
thought the use of video and technology was a departure from the

The venue is a little off-putting but I’m up close with Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers. A personal dream realized.

Much bigger crowd than I was expecting but it’s good to see a solid turnout for Eisley.
Regardless of where or how, a great band is always worth it. Zach Brown Band definitely has been.
In typical LA style, the Hollywood Bowl has had all the cool sucked out of it making it mostly suck.
